Camp Life

Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 18, 2025

  • WHAT WE DO

Royal Family KIDS Camp fosters resiliency, self-esteem, hope and positive memories. The camp curriculum and activities are woven through the modality of Trust-Based Relational Intervention to ensure our children are experiencing truly life giving activities throughout the 5 day experience.

  • SAFETY

All program volunteers go through training informed by TBRI to equip them for successful interactions with children who’ve experienced trauma. Counselors and Staff are interviewed and background checked. RFK training prepares everyone for safe experiences full of positive memories that will last a lifetime!

Camp Activities

Royal Family KIDS Camp is a week full of activities such as swimming, a ropes course, archery, arts and crafts, woodworking, sports, fishing, along with Bible stories, drama and singing!

These experiences are designed to build confidence in campers. Our goal is to create a week where campers get to have fun just being a kid.

Many campers say it is their best week of the year!

Camp Facilities

Royal Family KIDS Camp Knoxville will be taking place at a fully equipped facility designed to provide a safe, fun, and memorable experience for everyone.

Campers and volunteers stay in comfortable, air-conditioned cabins, ensuring a restful retreat each night.

The facility provides all meals and also features a variety of recreational amenities, including a swimming pool, sports field, hiking trails, pond, and craft areas, all perfect for a week full of exciting activities creating moments that matter.

ROYAL Treatment

Campers are given the royal treatment because everyone at camp is a part of God’s Kingdom!

Along the nonstop activities, campers are sent home with photo memory books that remind them of all the different activities they did, souvenirs, t-shirts, a music player that includes songs from camp, arts and craft projects, bibles, and more!

Bible Skits, Dancing and Singing!

At RFK Camp, we bring Bible stories to life in a way that captivates and inspires our campers. Through engaging skits, lively puppets, and interactive singing and dancing, we share messages of hope and God’s deep love for them. Each year has a specific theme and story throughout all camps and is tailored to their age group, helping campers understand these timeless truths in a way they can relate to. These uplifting experiences encourage perseverance, build confidence, and remind every child that they are treasured by God and have a hope for a bright future ahead."

  • I have been a therapeutic foster parent for close to ten years now... providing placements for some of the most disturbed foster children that no one else wanted. It never ceases to amaze me over the years how even the most disturbed children who had been given the opportunity to attend Royal Family Kids Camp, talked so highly of their experiences at your camp.

  • It has been 3 months since their camp experience and these children consistently ask me if they can return to Royal Family Kids Camp next summer. They still tell me stories of their experience and the people they met. The amount of attention given to each activity and the kids themselves make Royal Family Kids Camp very unique and clearly has a profound and positive impact on the children that have an opportunity to attend.

  • Words cannot express how deeply grateful I am on behalf of all the children who participated in your Royal Family KIDS Camp. It was so clear to all of us how much the campers delighted in all the wonderful activities your staff offered and how exciting it was for them to be given the opportunity to learn "how to swim in the deep end" or how to ride a bike. You all make these children feel like kinds and queens for a week!

  • My grandson Richard just returned from Royal Family Kids Camp. At first, we thought we picked up the wrong child. He has been so sweet, so helpful and trying so hard to cooperate. Whatever you all did, he has been so happy. He consciously wants to be "good". He shared with us all his souvenirs, pictures and wears his Royal Family Kids t-shirts every day. Richard and his brother listen to the mp3 player with songs from the camp all the time!
